Vibrant and elegant, The Black Sparkling Shiraz NV strikes a good balance between extracting appropriate tannin for structure, while retaining natural fruit drive and aromatics. The result is a bright, full-bodied Sparkling Shiraz.
Madeline Alice Sparkling Chardonnay Pinot Noir NV
Graceful and refined, Madeline Alice Sparkling Chardonnay Pinot Noir NV is bottle fermented in the traditional method, then aged on lees before disgorging and dosage. The result is a complex and elegant style of sparking wine.
Pike & Joyce Pinot Gris 2018
The palate is medium bodied possessing stone fruit mentioned above and some mineral/stony textures that gently wash over the mid palate providing length and interest. Balanced acidity ensures the wine does not finish fat or heavy.
Summary: The Adelaide Hills region has proven to be well suited to growing Pinot Gris successfully. This is the 12th release of the Pike & Joyce version and we think one of the best. It is still one of the best white wines to pair up with spicy Asian food.
Drink now and the next 3-5 years.
