Rich and concentrated palate with layers of dark berry and blackcurrant fruit combine with flavours of bitter dark chocolate, roasted nuts and a hint of wild tomato vine.

Cellaring: This wine is made for immediate consumption, however, will reward cellaring for 3-5 years.
Zilzie Coonawarra Cabernet
Fruit was sourced from selected Coonawarra vineyards with each vineyard parcel being fermented and managed separately.
The wines were fermented in static and rotary fermenters to achieve good colour and varietal fruit expression.
At the completion of fermentation, each batch was drained and pressed before transferring to French oak barriques for 12 months maturation before being blended and bottled.
Aromas of plum and blackcurrant fruit. On the palate blackcurrant and red cherry flavours with a savoury touch and toasty oak.
Wine would compliment lamb cutlets with roasted vegetables!

The palate is medium bodied possessing stone fruit mentioned above and some mineral/stony textures that gently wash over the mid palate providing length and interest. Balanced acidity ensures the wine does not finish fat or heavy.
Summary: The Adelaide Hills region has proven to be well suited to growing Pinot Gris successfully. This is the 12th release of the Pike & Joyce version and we think one of the best. It is still one of the best white wines to pair up with spicy Asian food. Drink now and the next 3-5 years.

Fruit for the Midday Somewhere Shiraz is sourced from a selection of premium vineyards within the renowned wine state of South Australia. South Australia has incredible diversity in climate and geography which makes it perfect for nurturing vines that go on to create dynamic and complex wines. Our Midday Somewhere Shiraz has benefited from such variety and subsequently showcases brilliant aromatic fruit notes balanced perfectly alongside soft vanilla hues from the quality French oak barriques.
Colour: Deep ruby with a purple rim.
Aroma: Vibrant aroma full of ripe dark berry fruits and dark chocolate.
Palate: A well structured palate showing an abundance of bright berry notes paired alongside a slick of coffee and some liquorice sweetness. Juicy and elegant.
Food Match: Pork and lamb ragu with pappardelle pasta.

Aroma: Lifted and fragrant – fresh strawberries, raspberries and a hint of citrus
Palate: A fresh and vibrant palate bursting with zesty acidity. Raspberry notes are prominent alongside hints of pink grapefruit and a lovely fruit sweetness. Dry and moreish finish. Food Match: Refreshing – and perfect – on its own
Cellaring: Best enjoyed young and fresh, or up to 2 years if you really have to.
Bird in Hand Sparkling Pinot
Bird in Hands Sparkling is everyone’s favourite!
I haven’t yet come across anyone who does not enjoy this Sparkling.
A sparkling rose with delightful strawberry and cherry aroma.
Clean vibrant strawberry flavours are enhanced by very fine persistent bead.
The fruit sweetness is perfectly balanced with crisp acid and long finish. Celebrate!

Aroma: Vibrant lemon and lime with perfumed blossom.
Palate: Bright and fresh with hits of citrus zest, nettle and green apple. Crunchy middle palate supported by a persistent and mouth-watering finish. Summary: A dynamic Riesling equipped with the trademark characteristics of two world renowned Riesling terroirs.
Pike & Joyce Rapide Pinot Noir 2017
Aroma: Bright strawberry, red cherry and raspberry fruits with just a hints of damp undergrowth and forest floor there in the mix too. Typical Pinot.
Palate: Although light in body, the palate has lovely depth of the red fruits mentioned above, fine tannins and balanced acidity. Lush & plush finish.
