Pike & Joyce Vue Du Nord Pinot Noir 2016
Colour: Medium red. Aroma: Enticing aromas of black cherries and strawberry complemented by subtle oak and some complex foresty/whole bunch ferment elements – the wine reveals more of itself with every swirl and sniff. Palate: On the palate it is all ripe, red and black cherries with an attractive, savoury edge coming from the fine, drying tannins and balanced acidity. Quite soft and supple. Summary: Another terrific wine from this special site. It will drink nicely upon release and improve over the next 5-6 years. It should go well with spicy quail or the famous T Chow duck.
